1st CORRIGENDUM TO TENDER CALL NOTICE No-17dt.4.2.05

Notice is hereby given to all concerned that the last date of sale of tender paper, submission of tender document as notified in the above tender notice published in “ The New Indian Express, BBSR Edn.”, “The Pajatantra” and “The Samaj” dtd. 10.02.05, inviting offers for hiring of machineries for drilling, overburden excavation, disposal of incidental muck and overburden materials at Dubna Mines of OMC Ltd. is hereby deferred and amended as per followings:

Last date for Sale of Tender Paper :    Up to 28.02.05.
Last date of submission of Tender :      02.03.05 up to 3.00 PM.
Opening of Technical Bid :                   02.03.05 at 4.00 PM

All other terms and conditions of original tender notice shall remain unchanged.

TENDER NOTICE NO. 17 DATED 4.2.2005

Sealed tenders are invited from capable agencies for “ Hiring of excavator with matching tippers, dumper, dozer, 4”/6” dia deep hole drill for excavation of Dubna Manganese Mines of OMC Ltd. in the District of Keonjhar during the year 2005-06 as mentioned hereunder. The work involves drilling, overburden excavation and disposal of waste at the dump yard through hired machineries as per instruction of .Manager (M) concerned.

1.         Details of work:

The tenderers fulfilling the following eligibility criteria only should participate in the tender.

2.        Eligibility Criteria:
(i) The agency must have successfully executed raising work(s) of ore/minerals and/or excavation of overburden in mining areas for a minimum amount of 30% in case of a single work or 50% in case of two works of the value of work shown in column No.4 in any one financial year during the last three years including the works of 2004-05, as on date of submission of tenders.
(ii) The agency should have minimum annual turn over equivalent to an amount against each work as shown in column No.4 in one financial year during the last three years 2004-05.
(iii) The agency should own adequate fleet of heavy earth moving machinery at its command to execute the work within the stipulated time.
(iv) The agency should have valid EPF Code and up to date Income Tax Clearance Certificates.


3. The tender documents for the above tender can be obtained from General Manager(M), OMC Ltd., Bhubaneswar from 14.02.05 to 19.02.05 during office hours on payment of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One thousand only) per set by cash/Demand Draft/Pay Order (non-refundable) in favour of Orissa Mining Corporation Limited payable at any Nationalised Bank at Bhubaneswar.


4. The tender will be on two bids system i.e. Technical Bid and Price Bid.

5. The tender documents for the above tender duly filled in along with the specified EMD in the shape of Demand Draft/Bankers cheque/Pay Order in favour of Orissa Mining Corporation Limited, Bhubaneswar payable at any Nationalised Bank at Bhubaneswar should be submitted by the tenderer on or before 02.03.05 at 3.00 PM. The Technical Bid will be opened on the same day at 4.00 PM in presence of the tenderers or his/her authorized representative and the date of opening of Price Bid of the qualified tenderers will be intimated later. The tender without the required EMD shall be rejected.

6. The intending tenderers are required to visit the site before quoting the rate.


OMC Ltd. reserves the right to accept or reject the full or part of any tender without assigning any reason whatsoever.
