OPPORTUNITIES FOR DEVELOPMENT OF GRANITE RESOURCES OF OMC IN ORISSA.

OMC invites offers from reputed companies for development of its 8 numbers of quarry leases located in Ganjam, Koraput, Keonjhar, Nayagarh, Cuttack and Kalahandi Districts in Orissa on Raising and Sale Contract Basis. Tender schedule will be issued to the companies who satisfy the following conditions.

1. The company interested to take up such work should have at least five years experience in raising and trading of granites.

2. The annual turnover of the company should be minimum Rs.25 lakhs in any of the years during last three years.

3. The company has to deploy machineries for raising of granite blocks and bear all expenses for raising.

4. The company shall have to pay royalty and other statutory dues to the State Government.

5. The company shall have to pay OMC an amount equal to 50% of royalty per M3 payable to State Government towards commission and amount from sales proceeds to be offered by the Company in the tender should be indicated in rupees per cubic meter.

6. The company shall have to set up a granite processing unit in Orissa as per OMMC Rules of Government of Orissa.

7. The company shall have to deposit an amount of Rs.50,000/-(Rupees fifty thousand) only for quarry leases having less than 5 hects of area and Rs.1.00 lakh (Rupees one lakh) only for quarry leases having more than 5 hects of area towards security deposit for each quarry lease before signing the agreement. This amount will be adjusted against payment of commission to OMC.

8. The tender paper will be available for sale in the office of the undersigned from 24.2.2005 to 9.3.2005 on payment of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred) only and will be received upto 3 P.M. on 10.3.2005.The tenders will be opened on the same day at 3.30 P.M. in presence of the tenderers or their authorized representative.

9. The OMC Limited reserves the right either to accept or reject any of the offers without assigning any reason thereof.
